published in 2007, we offer this classic striped sweater kit - traditional patterning with a totally contemporary feel.  Knit in sadly discontinued Rowan Scottish Tweed DK, this classic look for men is bound to become a wardrobe favorite.  Perfect for fall and winter. The sweater features simple shaping, inset sleeves, a V neckline, and plain ribbed bands.  The pattern can be made in any of 5 sizes -- to fit from a 40 inch to a 48 inch chest/bust.  The pattern specifies a gauge of 22 stitches and 30 rows to 4 inches (10 cm) on US 6 (4 mm) needles.  The design will work up quickly and become an instant classic in your winter wardrobe or make it as the perfect holiday gift for the man in your life.

Kit Contents:  A copy of the pattern and 20 50 gram balls of Rowan Scottish Tweed DK in the following shades:  Lewis Grey (007), Grey Mist (001). Sunset (011), Midnight (023), and Storm Grey (004) - sufficient to knit the largest size.
As with all of our Rare Rowan kits, this pack has been carefully stored in a non-smoking home, and these vintage yarns and fabric will arrive to you in pristine condition.
