Vintage Sansui SD-7000 Reel to Reel Player with Power

Let me start out by stating that this Vintage Sansui unit had it's power cord cut by a scrapper most probably so wired it back up to check it. The unit powered right up and I could hear a motor come on when I flipped up the left reel control arm. Other what I just stated this unit has not been tested or checked out in any other way. So is for parts only? I don't know.
The unit seems to be in real nice condition and all the buttons still push in and out as they should.
