TWO NEW SPACER DISCS FOR USE WITH REEL TO REEL TAPE RECORDERS AND TAPE DECKS.  DISCS ARE PLACED ON REEL TABLES PRIOR TO PLACING TAPE REELS ON REEL TURN TABLES (IN ORDER TO SLIGHTLY EXTEND THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE REEL TABLES AND THE REELS, TO KEEP THE REELS FROM SCRAPING THE FACE PLATE OF THE RECORDER).
SPACER DISCS ARE MOST COMMONLY USED IN CONNECTION WITH 10.5" METAL REELS .  HOWEVER, IN SOME APPLICATIONS THEY CAN ALSO BE USEFUL WITH CERTAIN 7" REEL TAPE DECK RECORDERS.
SPACER DISCS WILL FIT ON ALL MODELS OF  7" OR 10.5" REEL TO REEL RECORDERS.  THEY ARE THE SAME THICKNESS, SAME DIAMETER, AND SAME CENTER HOLE CUT SIZE AS THOSE PROVIDED BY TAPE RECORDER MANUFACTURERS DURING THE COMMON ERA.  THEY ARE MADE OF 24 POINT CAROLINA BOARD (WHICH IS A PRINTERS’ CARD STOCK).
