    This is
    NOT
    applicable to any TEAC/TASCAM
    cassette
    units.
It is a replacement idler made to exacting standards for the P/N: #5014175100 pinch roller.
    It is out P/N: 06-0171
It is approximately 1.26" - 1.28" in Outside Diameter (OD).
Measure the OD of your pinch roller to ensure it is within the specifications for your unit.
Fits a wide variety of TEAC/TASCAM tape units including  the 22 series, some 30 series, all the A series, and all the X series reel to reel tape recorders
With a Durometer hardness rating of about 65 it replicates the OEM specs and engages smoothly.
User is required to remove the aging factory rubber on the original idler down to the bronze bushing which
can be achieved by means of a box knife
Then the remaining rubber can be removed from the bronze bushing with 91% isopropyl alcohol
Clean the bronze bushing completely inside to remove the old lubricants with the alcohol as well prior to inserting the idler over it.
After cleaning and prior to installing the idler onto the bronze bushing make sure your hands are absolutely clean!
Whereupon the bronze busing is clean then carefully push this idler over the bushing and get the unit to seat properly.
When done installing the idler use a very small amount of thin oil such as Turbine Lubricating oil from Zoom Spout inside the bronze bushing just prior to remounting the complete idler assembly.
A great way to inexpensively restore a pinch roller.
