Mid-20th c. Antique Wool Disney Rug 4.5x7.5

Description

Authentic Disney Wool Area Rug approximately 5x8 more exactly 4.5x7.5 (89"x55") Sizing is approximate. Date of manufacture could not be verified but approximately 1940's after the release of Bambi.
The Color of the base is cream and black with some discoloration and minor fading from age. This rug has been professionally cleaned by antique rug specialists. Some deterioration of the side casing is shown. I did not want to alter the piece so opted for cleaning only.
Disney Characters show: Bambi, Goofy, Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Thumper and Sleepy. Disneyana collectable item.
This is a very unique item and only one other is currently available online.
The pieces is 100% Wool and is handwoven.
The rug has some minor stains that could not be removed. Please see images for details. This piece is sold in as is condition and is beautifully preserved but it is in used and antique condition.
