Make your own G or O scale roofing with 36 gauge aluminum up to 4" wide. You can make roofing up to 4" X 7". This size becomes handy if you are building a large roof on a building. Make any size you want. Just depends on how big you cut the pieces.  (The smaller the piece the precise the crimp will be.)  You can use 36 gauge aluminum which you can buy on ebay or Amazon. I include a page where I buy mine. Beer or pop cans will work but a can will only yield a strip about 3 inches wide. The oversize beer cans or something like an Arizona Green Tea can will give you a sheet of aluminum that will work.  Each

comes with 2 pieces of roofing I made in it. One is made from a pop or beer can and the other is 36 gauge aluminum. They are very paintable or leave them the way they are. I have included a picture of an elevator I built last winter (roofing not painted) and all the roofing I made with beer and pop cans.(Elevator is NOT included and is NOT for sale). The store has cans painted red on the overhang, (Store is NOT for sale either.)  Complete instructions are included which I wrote. Color pictures too. (Pictures included in this ad are explained in the instructions.) It works. I have several building with this on them. I have 1 for sale: when it gone I will probably not make anymore of these. (They take more raw material to build.) I do not offer returns because it would be too easy to make roofing and then return the press. Sorry. But it does make great looking roofing!
