New Old Stock all Chrome "VW" Logo'd Key Chain that is still Brand New inside its original box. It really shines. These were given out to new customers back when DCH Volkswagen of Freehold, New Jersey was in business. Laser etched on the backside is "DCH Volkswagen of Freehold" with phone number and web site. Both the Dealership and the web site are no longer in operation.  The Box measures 4-1/4" tall by 2-1/4" Wide. It is a brilliant piece of newer car memorabilia. Everything is Chromed Out on it. Shines with a mirror-like finish. Nice Swivel Medallion attachment from the Circular Medallion to the Circular Split. A Very Classy Volkswagen Piece. A perfect gift for some that is into collecting VW items such as this. Also if you happened to have purchased a VW from this Freehold Dealership and still have the car -what a Great Find!
DCH Volkswagen of Freehold New Jersey was purchased by David Michael VW from David Levy about 20 years ago. They ran the dealership under Levy's name for a few years before switching over to DCH Volkswagen of Freehold. About 6 years ago they closed the dealership. Prime example of what Corporate Car Dealerships Conglomerates have become over the last three decades. I believe Group 1 Automotive purchased DCH. They also own over 145 other various car dealerships, mostly in the southern states. When you get this big, dealerships come and go on a regular basis. These decisions may look good on paper or in in fancy boardroom meetings, but customers that buy expensive automobiles tend to favor longevity and consistency, especially when it comes to customer service. The Dealership abruptly or "mysteriously" shut-down according to the media. A beautiful key holder that perhaps can be simply considered a "casuality" of the times. It is sure to bring a smile to any Volkswagen collector, driver or lover. It is interesting t
o point out that the television commercials that used to advertise the DCH VW Dealership stated that the "DCH" stands for "Delivering Customer Happiness".  How Ironic.
