SensorSafe 2.0
SensorSafe 2.0 technology integrated into the chest clip of the Cloud Q sends alerts to both a vehicle receiver and a smartphone. The alerts notify parents when the child has been accidentally left in the car, helping to avoid unthinkable tragedies. Alerts also sound when the child unbuckles themselves in a moving vehicle, when a child has been seated for too long, and when the back seat has become too warm or cool.

SensorSafe 2.0 will chime through the installed vehicle receiver to alert when a child is still secured in the back seat after the car has been switched off. This reminds the caregiver to take action quickly, but if the child is still secured after several minutes an alert will be sent to the caregiver’s cellphone through the downloaded app. If the situation is still not remedied, the designated emergency contact will receive an alert with the GPS coordinates of the vehicle’s last known position. This state-of-the-art safety technology is designed so there is no need to reinstall each time you drive. For ease, just keep the receiver plugged into your car’s OBD port to drive with that extra peace of mind. The innovative user-friendly app, also provides guidance on installation, how-to videos, FAQ’s and more to help prevent misuse.

RECLINING BACKREST
An innovative new function of the Cloud Q is that it easily converts to a near-flat recline position outside of the car. With a longer leg-rest and recline position, the baby can lie comfortably and in an ergonomically correct position. The angle can be adjusted easily with one hand without having to take the child out of the car seat, and the handle remains in the carrying position for easier mobility. In combination with the CYBEX strollers, the Cloud Q can be used as a visually harmonious travel system. Thanks to the ergonomic design with a near flat recline position, the infant car seat transforms into a practical and clever carry cot for the first months. Sleeping babies rest with optimal protection and in an ergonomically correct position.
REMOVABLE SEAT INSERT
One of the biggest challenges for safety engineers is the best possible transportation of premature babies and very small newborns, whose neck muscles and reflexes are not yet well enough developed. Unfortunately, this can lead to the baby's head tipping forward while it sleeps, which can lead to serious breathing problems. Along with German doctors and midwives, and taking into account the findings of many tests, a function was developed that enables a near flat lying angle between head, neck and chest. The risk of suffocation is thereby significantly reduced. This is achieved through a removable seat insert, which also offers more space and comfort for bigger children once removed.
TELESCOPIC L.S.P. SYSTEM
The telescopic Linear Side-impact Protection (L.S.P. System) and energy-absorbing shell both help to absorb force in the event of a side-impact collision. The telescopic Linear Side-impact Protection can be easily and individually adjusted. The very first forces of a side-impact collision are transferred by the extended side protectors facing the door and are distributed throughout the car seat's shell. The flexible material and structure of the infant car seat then absorbs the forces of an impact and channels them away from the baby.
11-POSITION HEIGHT-ADJUSTABLE HEADREST
In combination with the telescopic Linear Side-impact Protection System the height-adjustable headrest adds to the excellent side-impact protection of the Cloud Q infant car seat. With the new 11-position height-adjustable headrest with integrated harness guide, the length of the harness changes automatically when the headrest is adjusted. This prevents any need for the difficult rethreading of the harness and makes it almost impossible to misuse.
MATCHING INTEGRATED XXL FOLD-AWAY SUN CANOPY
For maximum protection of baby's skin, the matching XXL fold-away sun canopy fulfills the stringent UPF50+ sun protection standard. The integrated, XXL fold-away sun canopy is designed to elegantly disappear behind a color-coordinated visor. It can also be extended incrementally, offering not only perfect sun protection, but also protection against wind.
