    Description

    Akai GX-255 Reel-to-Reel Player.  This item does still work.  Was playing it and a fuse blew in it one night. I replaced the fuse and a part started smoking.  I think it is a simple transistor that needs replacing.  I also do not have the pinch wheel and cap for it.  I looked them up and a replacement was around or for a wheel and a cap.  My dad purchased this reel-to-reel when I was a kid and when he passed this last October, it was part of my inheritance.  Would like to keep it, but I don't play it and would like for someone to give it a good home and use it.
