Listed is a nice example of the Madras Presidency 2 Pies, dated 1825.
Obv:
Coat of arms of the East India Company. On the ribbon is the legend: Auspicio Regis Et Senatus Anglia, date below. All within a raised toothed rim.
Lettering:
1825 AUSP REGIS & SEN ANGLIAE
Rev:
The value in Persian, with the numeral above and the AH date, 1240, below. Flanked by sprays surrounded by a raised, toothed rim.
