Up for sale is a used ink blotter which is an advertisement piece from Burgin Bros. Springfield, Mass which was a manufacturer of flags.  The blotter is celebrating  "seventy-six years of flag making stands back of every Sterling all wool bunting and defiance moth-proof bunting U.S. Flag. Sterling and Defiance bunting flags give the best service. Federal, State and Municipal Governments use more Sterling and Definance bunting flags than all other brands combined." "For prices see our catalogue:  "Spirit of '76".  This item is in over-all good, used condition.  One corner shows a bend mark, but it has not broken the paper.  The back side shows that it has been used.
