Vintage original 1950 – February through March calendar months represented on one and June 1950 on the other of these advertising ink blotters for CABBLE FOURDRINIER WIRES – WM. Cabble Wire Mfg. Co. Brooklyn, N. Y.
Stamped along the bottom edge Printed by Brown & Bigelow U.S.A. Image is by R.H.
Palenske and titled “COUNTERATTACK” with the image of two spooked horses with a lion jumping down and “BUGLING BEAGLE” with Beagle dog and scene below with a rabbit running from two beagle hunting dogs.
There are touched corners and light surface marks. The front and back of the blotters are unmarked.
